Telangana adds 605 new Covid cases, seven deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 605 new Covid infections and seven fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,691 and the total number of positive cases to 6,26,690. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday was 11,964.
Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 71, 800 Covid tests of which results of 813 samples were awaited. On Sunday, 1,088 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.50 per cent. So far, a total of 1,90,66,401 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,26,690 have tested positive and 6,11,035 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five from Adilabad, 25 from Bhadradri, 107 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagitiial, seven from Jangaon, 14 from Bhupalpally, five from Gadwal, one from Kamareddy, 54 from Karimnagar, 22 from Khammam, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 33 from Mahabubabad, 19 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 27 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, nine from Mulugu, five from Nagarkurnool, 27 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, six from Nizamabad, 21 from Peddapalli, 24 from Sircilla, 33 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, 22 from Siddipet, 36 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, one from Wanaparthy, 19 from Warangal Rural, 26 from Warangal Urban and eight from Bhongir.
