After Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham sought information on Pillaipally and Dharma Reddy canal works, the Irrigation Minister replied. In reply, the former Minister countered that it was the Congress government that ruled Telangana for a long time and that it should be held responsible for River Musi’s issues. Responding to Harish Rao, Venkat Reddy sought to know in what capacity he was raising objections. “You do not have the right to question,” he said.

CPI MLA K Sambasiva Rao also appealed to the Speaker to ensure more questions were asked by MLAs during the question hour. Stating that only a couple of questions were being asked by the members, he said they had to stick to questions and avoid diverting to other issues not related to the questions raised.
