Telangana BIE warns private colleges over unauthorised admissions
Stating that an admissions notification and schedule for ensuing academic year 2025-26 was yet to be issued, TG BIE Secretary S Krishna Aditya instructed the colleges to strictly adhere to the admission schedule
Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) on Wednesday warned private junior colleges against making unauthorised admission activities, including pre-admissions by involving the PROs.
Stating that an admissions notification and schedule for ensuing academic year 2025-26 was yet to be issued, TG BIE Secretary S Krishna Aditya instructed the colleges to strictly adhere to the admission schedule.
“Any deviation from the admission schedule is a violation of established norms and will be dealt with seriously and appropriate action will be initiated as per rules. The provisional affiliation will not be processed for the academic year 2025-26, if any deviation is found,” he warned.
The move by the Board comes as it has been receiving complaints highlighting unauthorized admission activities, including pre-admissions.
The TG BIE Secretary asked students and parents not to take admissions in the junior colleges, prior to issuance of admission schedules for the academic year 2025-26.
The students and parents were also informed that the provisional affiliation process has not yet commenced for the academic year 2025-2026. After the affiliation process, a list of provisionally affiliated junior colleges would be hosted on the TG BIE’s official website tgbie.cgg.gov.in and acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in.
Parents have been asked to admit their wards only in the affiliated colleges to avoid further complications.
