“These communal clashes are recurring as the police failed to act tough against the perpetrators,” said Dharmapuri Arvind
Hyderabad: BJP MP from Nizamabad Dharmapuri Arvind on Tuesday demanded that the State government order a judicial probe by a sitting judge into the group clashes that took place in Bhainsa town on Sunday night.
“These communal clashes are recurring as the police failed to act tough against the perpetrators,” he said at a press conference here. Instead of taking stern action against those involved in the violence, the police are preventing him from visiting the affected places and putting him under house arrested, he alleged.
The police department should take serious note of these clashes that were happening regularly in Bhainsa, he said, adding that compensation was also not paid to those who suffered property loss and sustained injuries in the clashes that took place last year.
“I am also writing a letter to the Central government urging it to intervene and take necessary action,” he said.
