In-charge Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier said no untoward incidents were reported in the town in the last one week

He visited several parts of the town including Pahadi and Mahagaon villages where commercial establishments and vehicles were set on fire

He pleaded the public not to trust rumours being spread on social media platforms and not to forward unauthentic messages
