Telangana Budget 2025: Sports Budget increased by Rs. 100 crores

The allocation of Rs 465 crores this year for sports is Rs 100 crores more than the last year’s budgetary provision

Hyderabad: The annual budgetary allocation for sports in the State has been increased by Rs 100 crores according to the budget presented in the Telangana Legislative Assembly here on Wednesday.

The allocation of Rs 465 crores this year for sports is Rs 100 crores more than the last year’s budgetary provision.


The sporting fraternity welcomed the budget proposals with regard to sports and hoped the administration would make optimum use of the allocation for the all-round promotion of sports.

Sports Authority of Telangana State chairman Shiva Sena Reddy welcomed the move and hoped sports will get a major fillip.
