Sangareddy: Students of Delhi Public School had a narrow escape on Thursday morning after their school bus caught fire in Kistareddypet village under Ameenpur municipality. Fortunately, all children managed to get off the bus before the fire engulfed the vehicle.

The incident occurred while the driver was picking up students this morning. A suspected technical glitch in the engine triggered the blaze. Acting swiftly, the alert driver stopped the vehicle and, with the help of locals, ensured that all students disembarked safely. No injuries were reported.

Locals attempted to control the flames by pouring water before a fire tender arrived and doused the blaze completely.
