Medak: District Collector Rahul Raj cycled 20 km from Medak to Ramayampet to inspect the government hospital on Sunday, promoting physical fitness while assessing healthcare services.
Accompanied by his wife, Raj began the journey from the Collector’s camp office on Sunday morning and reached the hospital within an hour. On arrival, he examined the hospital staff attendance register and interacted with patients to understand the quality of services being offered.
Speaking to the media, the Collector said no malaria cases had been reported in Medak district, and only a few dengue cases had surfaced, thanks to proactive preventive measures.
He said his marathon cycle rides were intended to raise awareness across all sections of society about the importance of physical exercise and maintaining good health.
