Hyderabad: Director-General of Police M Mahendar Reddy appreciated the Mahabubabad police for rescuing an elderly person who was found entangled in fencing wires.
An Anganwadi teacher Sujatha, who was carrying out vaccination survey in the area, noticed the elderly person and alerted the local police. A Sub-Inspector Satish immediately rushed to the spot and shifted him to an old age home in the district.
In a tweet, the police chief appreciated the efforts of Mahabubabad police. Responding to the tweet, several people lauded the police for rescuing an elderly person.
“Hats off to telagana police sir @TelanganaDGP garu,” said Venumadhav in his tweet. Another person Venkata Raghavendra tweeted saying “We salute all your humanitarian efforts.”
