Hyderabad: Dr Errolla Srinivas on Wednesday assumed charge as Chairman of Telangana State Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC) in the presence of Health Minister, T Harish Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that TSMSIDC is playing a vital role in realising the dream of Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao to transform the state into Aarogya Telangana.

“I congratulate Errolla Srinivas for the new responsibility. As a Chairman of TSMSIDC, Srinivas now has a huge responsibility of ensuring life saving drugs are available to poor patients across all the government hospitals. I also hope that he plays a proactive role in the transformation of the State into Aarogya Telangana, which is a dream of Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao,” he said.

The Health Minister highlighted the contribution of TSMSIDC in the overall development of medical infrastructure in Telangana.

“Development of teaching hospitals including Mahabubnagar, Siddipet and the nursing college at Siricilla were taken-up by TSMSIDC. The Corporation also took-up construction of modular operation theatres at MNJ Cancer Hospital and in the last few years, it has developed infrastructure in over 100 government health care facilities,” Harish Rao said.

Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Tourism Minister, V Srinivas Goud and others were present.
