Sangareddy: Former Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran demanded the irrigation department to release water to the Singur left bank canal to save the crops in the ayacut.

Kranthi Kiran and other BRS leaders inspected the crops in Lakshmi Sagar and other villages on Monday. He interacted with the farmers to know their struggles.

Speaking on the occasion, the former MLA said the farmers of the constituency never witnessed such issues during the last decade. He said the State government was not releasing the water even though Singur was full of water. Kranthi Kiran demanded local MLA and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha to intervene in the matter and save the crops of the farmers.
