Telangana: Group- I Main exams conclude with around 10,272 candidates skipping the Paper-VI

A total of 31,403 candidates selected for the examination, around 21,151 aspirants took the examination, translating attendance percentage to 67.3 per cent

Hyderabad: The Group – I Main examinations concluded with as many as 10,272 candidates skipping the Paper-VI – Telangana Movement and State Formation conducted on Sunday.

A total of 31,403 candidates selected for the examination, around 21,151 aspirants took the examination, translating attendance percentage to 67.3 per cent.

Initially, the TGPSC picked 31,383 candidates in a 1:50 ratio for the Main exams. Twenty sports candidates were allowed to appear for the exams as per the High Court orders.

Since there were 10,272 absentees during the examination, 37.5 candidates would be competing for each Group – I job. The TGPSC had issued recruitment notification to 563 Group – I vacancies.
