Telangana: Health Minister inspects collapsed school building in Sangareddy
Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha inspected the Telangana Residential School hostel that collapsed in Sangareddy on Tuesday. He directed demolition of unsafe structures and alternative arrangements for classes. Collector P Pravina later proposed new buildings at an estimated cost of Rs 7 crore

Sangareddy: Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha on Tuesday evening inspected the Telangana residential school hostel building that collapsed at Lingampally in Munipally mandal.
The Minister directed officials to make alternative arrangements to ensure that the school functions smoothly until new buildings are constructed. He also instructed them to identify unsafe structures on the premises and demolish them before initiating fresh construction.
Rajanarasimha enquired about the condition of three students who sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Earlier in the day, District Collector P Pravina visited the site and inspected the remains of the collapsed building. She directed officials of the engineering department to prepare a proposal for new structures at an estimated cost of ₹7 crore.
