Hyderabad: i2E Lab, a 14-week pre-incubation programme co-created by Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) and Make Room India (Uttunga Ventures) has onboarded 20 high impact startup ideas. They were selected based on the potential to grow and market necessity.
The programme will hold workshops on idea validation, business model, customer validation, and scaling of ideas. The ideas range from EV, healthtech, edutech, sustainability, agriculture, assistive technology, software-as-a technology, Tech for Good, greentech to community health.
“i2E aims to manoeuvre an idea into entrepreneurship. The first cohort participants have recently showcased their offerings at the TSIC exhibitions,” said IT and Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.
TSIC along with Make Room India will be able to help young innovators navigate their innovation journey by building traction at various levels, said TSIC Chief Innovation Officer Dr Shanta Thoutam.
“i2E works to reduce startup failure rate in early stages. In the last edition, we had 400 hours of interaction and we catalysed over Rs 80 lakh in funding. For this edition, we aim to generate pilot access with the government departments and also with leading corporations,” said Make Room India Founder Pranav Hebbar.
i2E was devised to nurture innovators working on social problems, said Annie Vijaya, Head-Sustainability and Scalability Office.
