Telangana: Instructions issued for candidates appearing for Group-I Main exams
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will hold the Group - I Main examination from October 21, commencing with general English paper, which is a qualifying test
Hyderabad: Candidates appearing for the Group – I Main exams commencing October 21 must carry the same hall ticket used on the first day of the examination for the remaining six examinations.
On each examination day, every candidate must sign on the hall ticket, in the presence of the invigilator at the space provided, which will be counter signed by the invigilator. The aspirants will not be permitted from appearing for the examination if they come up with a new downloaded copy on each exam day.
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will hold the Group – I Main examination from October 21, commencing with general English paper, which is a qualifying test. All seven papers including the qualifying test will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Entry into the exam centres will commence at 12.30 pm with the last entry being at 1.30 pm. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after gates closure at 1.30 pm.
The Group – I Main comprises General English (qualifying test), and General Essay (paper – I), History, Culture and geography (paper – II), Indian Society, Constituent and Governance (paper – III), Economy and Development (paper IV), Science and Technology, and Data Interpretation (paper – V) and Telangana Movement and State Formation (paper – VI).
Candidates must carry the hall ticket, along with at least one original valid photo identification card (in physical form) – Passport, Pan card, Voter ID, Aadhaar card, government employee ID or driving license – issued by government and black / blue ball point pens, pencil and eraser to exam centres.
The aspirants have been asked to affix their passport size photo taken within three months of the examination date at the designated place in the printed hall ticket before coming to the exam centre.
The TGPSC, which is holding the exams, will provide candidates specific answer booklets for all papers on each day of the examination and no additional papers will be given to candidates.
Rough work has to be done only at the space provided in the answer booklet and loose sheets or papers will not be allowed into the examination hall besides no paper will be detached from the answer booklet.
Candidates have been instructed to wear only chappals and not shoes. No cloak room or storage facility to safeguard any of their valuables or belongings will be available at the examination centres.
