Telangana: Ivorian delegation lauds Nava Ltd for women empowerment activities

Kothagudem: A delegation of top officials of Ivory Coast government lauded the women empowerment activities being implemented by Paloncha-based Nava Limited as part of its CSR initiative.
The delegation was on a study visit to Nava Limited’s ferroalloy manufacturing plant in the wake of the company’s plans to establish a plant in Ivory Coast. The delegation visited Nava Women Empowerment Centre and Nava Eye Care Centre at Paloncha.
The delegation comprising special advisor to the Ivorian Prime Minister, ACKA Yao Alexandre, Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI) general manager Solange Marief AMICHIA, SODEMI general manager, KONE Moussa Seydou, technical advisor to the Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Energy COULIBALY Brahima, infrastructure general direction of industry director in charge ANZOUMANA Epse BEUGRE Gaoussou Fatou attended a certificates presentation programme.
They presented certificates to women who were trained in tailoring, beautician, Tally and DTP courses by the Women Empowerment Centre as part of Nava Limited’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Speaking on the occasion Alexandre said that the women’s empowerment training programmes conducted by Nava Limited were very useful for economic growth of women and everyone should make use of them to grow financially independent.
The company executive director Nikhil Devineni, business director CV Durgaprasad, vice president and unit head (Telangana operations) Rear Admiral (veteran) LV Sarat Babu, general manager (CSR) MGM Prasad and others were present.
