Municipal Commissioner K Srinivas suspended for taking unauthorised leave ahead of the commencement of Pattana Pragathi programme
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Kaghaznagar Municipal Commissioner K Srinivas was suspended for taking unauthorised leave ahead of the commencement of Pattana Pragathi programme and dereliction of duties.
An order to this effect was issued by N Satyanarayana, the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, on Wednesday.
According to the order, Srinivas was placed under suspension and was asked not to leave the headquarters without obtaining the prior permission of MA&UD Commissioner during the suspension period. He sought casual leave on June 23 and extended it till July 25. He, however, left the civic body though he was not granted leave and without informing the authorities.
Assistant commissioner of Adilabad municipality Raju has been posted as commissioner of Kaghaznagar.
