Telangana logs 1,417 new Covid cases, 12 deaths
The number of active cases in the State is 19,029 as on Friday evening
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,417 new Covid infections and 12 fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,546 and the total number of positive cases to 6,10,834. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday evening, is 19,029.
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,24,430 Covid tests of which results of 994 samples were awaited. On Friday, 1,897 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.30 per cent. So far, a total of 1,73,14,780 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,10,834 have tested positive and 5,88,259 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six cases from Adilabad, 82 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 149 from areas under GHMC, 36 from Jagtiial, 13 from Jangaon, 32 from Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, 10 from Jogulamba Gadwal, seven from Kamareddy, 87 from Karimnagar, 93 from Khammam, six from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 25 from Mahabubnagar, 60 from Mahabubabad, 46 from Mancherial, 16 from Medak, 61 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 26 from Mulugu, 17 from Nagarkurnool, 88 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, 10 from Nizamabad, 65 from Peddapalli, 26 from Rajanna Sircilla, 104 from Rangareddy, 22 from Sangareddy, 43 from Siddipet, 85 from Suryapet, 23 from Vikarabad, 37 from Wanaparthy, 24 from Warangal Rural, 62 from Warangal Urban and 46 from Yadadri Bhongir.
