Telangana logs 163 new Covid cases, one death
A total of 157 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,544 with a recovery rate of 98.80 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 163 new Covid-19 infections and one fatality on Monday taking the cumulative number fatalities to 1,635 while the total number of positive cases is 2,99,086. As on Monday, there were 1,907 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 157 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,544 with a recovery rate of 98.80 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.1 per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 40,181 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 488 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 87,61,207 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,99,086 have tested positive and 2,95,544 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five each from Adilabad and Bhadradri, 27 from areas under GHMC, seven from Jagtiyal, two from Jangaon, three from Kamareddy, seven from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, two from Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, two from Mahabubabad, eight from Mancherial, four from Medak, 13 from Medchal Malkajgiri, two from Mulugu, four from Nagarkurnool, seven from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, five from Nizamabad, two from Peddapalli, three from Siricilla, 12 from Rangareddy, two from Sangareddy, five from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, three from Wanaparthy, one from Warangal Rural, seven from Warangal Urban and four from Yadadri.
