Telangana logs 1,771 new Covid cases, 13 deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,771 new Covid infections and 13 fatalities on Saturday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,469 and the total number of positive cases to 6,02,089. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Saturday evening stood at 22,133.
Between Friday and Saturday, authorities conducted 1,20,525 Covid tests of which results of 1,380 samples were awaited. On Saturday, 2,384 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 95.74 per cent. So far, a total of 1,66,32,289 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,02,089 have tested positive and 5,76,487 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included seven cases from Adilabad, 107 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 177 from areas under GHMC, 44 from Jagitial, 15 from Jangaon, 42 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 21 from Jogulamba Gadwal, two Kamareddy, 99 from Karimnagar, 149 from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 50 from Mahabubnagar, 73 from Mahabubabad, 57 from Mancherial, 11 from Medak, 104 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 33 from Mulugu, 25 from Nagarkurnool, 157 from Nalgonda, nine from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, 21 from Nizamabad, 82 from Peddapalli, 36 from Rajanna Sircilla, 85 from Rangareddy, 40 from Sangareddy, 50 from Siddipet, 86 from Suryapet, 25 from Vikarabad, 35 from Wanaparthy, 27 from Warangal Rural, 64 from Warangal Urban and 36 from Yadadri Bhongir.
