Jagtial: Three persons of a family were murdered by unidentified persons in Tarakaramanagar of Jagtial rural mandal on Thursday.
According to police, two groups clashed during a meeting held in Erukala Sangham Bhavan in TR Nagar of Jagtial rural mandal on Thursday.
Jaganatham Nageshwar Rao and his two sons Rambabu and Ramesh, who participated in the meeting, were attacked by unidentified persons. The three suffered severe bleeding injuries as the assailants attacked them with knives.
While Nageshwar Rao and Rambabu died on the spot, Ramesh died while he was being shifted to hospital.
The three were attacked following allegations of them practicing sorcery. On coming to know about the incident, Jagtial DSP Prakesh visited the spot and began investigation.
