Telangana martyrs’ dream has come true, says Dasyam Vinaya Bhaskar

Warangal: Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinaya Bhaskar said on Wednesday that Telangana, the youngest State in the country, had emerged as a role model for all other States in implementation of welfare schemes and development initiatives.
Speaking after hoisting the national flag at the Warangal Urban district collectorate at Julywada on the occasion of State Formation Day, he said that the dream of those who laid down their lives for the cause of a separate State had come true.
He further said that the Chief Minister instilled confidence among the novel coronavirus patients at the MGM Hospital by his visit. “About 7000 patients got treated at the MGM Hospital and safely returned to their home,” said the Chief Whip and advised the people to use the medical kit provided by the government through Asha workers and ANMs. Earlier, he along with other leaders paid floral tributes to Telangana martyrs at the Memorial at Adalat Centre.
The programme was attended by Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani, former Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari, Rajya Sabha MP Banda Prakash, District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, MLA Nannapuneni Narender, Additional Collector Sandhya Rani and others.
Meanwhile, Government Chief Whip MS Prabhakar Rao hoisted the national flag at Mulugu district collectorate. Later, he distributed masks to the media persons. The programme was attended by the ZP Chairman Kusuma Jagadeesh, and other district officials.
At Mahabubad, Minister for Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Satyavathi Rathod has hoisted the flag on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day. She said that the Mahabubabad district had been marching forward towards making the State ‘Bangaru Telangana’.
“The district has got two national highways, one from Mallampalli of Mulugu district to Mahabubabad via Suryapet to Nakrekal and another from Kodad of Suryapet district via Khammam to Kuravi mandal,” she said and added that the third highway from Bhadrachalam to Hyderabad via Mahabubabad had also been sanctioned and the works would be taken up soon. District Collector VP Gautham and others were present.
