Telangana: Mild tension prevails as locals gather during Pharma City land survey in Rangareddy

Anxious local villagers reached the spot and started protesting

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed as local residents assembled while officials were surveying the assigned and patta lands acquired for Pharma City at Yacharam mandal in Rangareddy district on Thursday.

The revenue, TGIIC and civic officials along with Yacharam Tahsildar Ayyappa reached the spot with earth movers to survey and fence the lands which were earlier acquired. The authorities have planned to complete the survey within two months.

Anxious local villagers reached the spot and started protesting. However, the officials pacified them. The police was deployed on a large scale to prevent any untoward incident.
