Telangana MLC polls: CPI names Nellikanti Satyam as candidate under MLA quota
Nellikanti Satyam to file his nomination at 10 am on Monday after Communist Party of India announces his name

HYDERABAD: The Communist Party of India (CPI) State unit has announced Nellikanti Satyam as its candidate for the MLC elections under the MLA quota. He will be filing his nomination at 10 am on Monday.
Communist Party of India MLA and State Secretary K Sambasiva Rao made the announcement late on Sunday evening.
The Communist Party of India State unit had a long meeting in the city to finalize the candidates as Chada Venkat Reddy and Takkelapally Srinivas were also among the contenders.
However, the party leaders finalised the candidature of Nellikanti Satyam.
