Telangana Model School student shines at State-level chess meet

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A girl student belonging to Telangana Model School won the first prize in a State-level Under-15 Chess Championship, organised by Telangana State Chess Association in Hyderabad on October 21.

Principal of the school Abdul Khaleel said that Durgam Vidya, a Class IX student of the institution excelled in the chess competition and bagged the first prize. He congratulated her for shining in the state-level championship and bringing recognition to the school and the district. He advised other students to draw inspiration from Vidya and excel in their favorite fields.

The school management committee chairman Prem Kumar, Physical Director B Thirupathi, teachers and non-teaching staff congratulated the girl.
