Telangana: One killed, four injured as car rams truck near Renigunta toll plaza
A 22-year-old man died and four were injured when a speeding car rammed into a parked lorry near Renigunta toll plaza in Karimnagar. The victims were travelling from Hyderabad to Gangadhara. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
Karimnagar: One person died and four sustained injuries when a car rammed into a parked lorry on Rajiv Rahadari near Renigunta toll plaza in Thimmapur mandal on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when a speeding car, on its way from Hyderabad to Gangadhara, hit the stationary lorry. Manne Raghava (22) died on the spot, while Morkuri Rajesh, Morkuri Lakshmi and Morkuri Sneha suffered injuries. The car driver, Langaru Lokesh, escaped with minor injuries.
The injured were shifted to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital. Police visited the scene and registered a case. Investigation is underway.
