Telangana: Police officer dies as gun goes off accidentally in Nizamabad

Hyderabad: A police officer died of gunshot wounds after a gun went off accidentally at the district police headquarters in Nizamabad district on Friday morning.

A police statement said Reserve Inspector H. Satish had returned to the headquarters after his night duty and was cleaning a weapon when it went off accidentally. He died on the spot.
