Admissions to Kamala Nehru Polytechnic College for Women, Nampally have been made part of POLYCET
Hyderabad: The issue over admissions into Kamala Nehru Polytechnic College for Women, Nampally, came to an end with the college been made part of Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2021 admission counselling process which commences on Thursday.
The college will have admissions into four disciplines – computer science, civil engineering, commercial and computer practice, and electronics and communication engineering for the academic year 2021-22. Except for computer science which is a self-finance course, the other courses are aided. These diploma courses will have 230 seats, the authorities said on Wednesday.
This year, a total of 28,814 seats are available in 119 polytechnic institutions across the State. Of the total seats, 16,710 are in private unaided, 11,874 in government and 230 seats in aided polytechnic colleges.
The first phase of TS POLYCET 2021 admission counselling process will begin with online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee and slot booking for certificate verification from August 5 to 9. The certificate verification for candidates who booked a slot will be done from August 6 to 10. Candidates can exercise their web options from August 6 to 12 and seats will be allotted on August 16.
