Telangana rains: Electrician dies in wall collapse at under construction godown in Siddipet
The victim was working at an under construction godown when the boundary wall collapsed on him
Siddipet: Heavy rains coupled with thunderstorms lashed several parts of Siddipet, Medak and Sangareddy district on Thursday. A man died as a boundary wall collapsed on him at Jaligama in Gajwel mandal.
The deceased was Himmat Khan (55), a resident of Gajwel town. Khan, an electrician by profession, was working at under-construction godown when the area witnessed heavy rains.
When rain relented, Khan walked out the godown to attend the nature’s call close to the boundary wall when it collapsed on him.
As he failed to attend his phone call, his family members reached the spot and found him dead under the debris.
Meanwhile, the untimely rains caused a great loss to the farmers across the district paddy and mango farmers suffered huge losses.
The poultry farmers were also damaged at several places due to heavy rains. Several birds of a farmer died at Timmakkapally in Gajwel mandal.
