Telangana: Ration distribution halted for two days
Civil Supplies Commissioner V Anil Kumar urged the ration card holders to cooperate with the government given the technical glitch

Hyderabad: The Civil Supplies Department has suspended distribution of essential commodities to ration card holders through fair price shops on Friday and Saturday. The decision was taken after all the online services of the State government across the State were affected due to modernisation of a high-end UPS at the Telangana State Data Centre in Hyderabad.

The ration distribution process will resume on Sunday as usual. In a release, Civil Supplies Commissioner V Anil Kumar urged the ration card holders to cooperate with the government given the technical glitch.
