Telangana records 2,242 new Covid cases, 19 fatalities
On Sunday, 4,693 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 92.11 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 2,242 new Covid infections and 19 fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,125 and the total number of positive cases to 5,53,277.The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday evening, stood at 40,489.
Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 42,526 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 2,231 samples are awaited. On Sunday, 4,693 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 92.11 per cent. So far, a total of 1,45,07,897 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,53,277 have tested positive and 5,09,663 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included from 11 Adilabad, 42 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 343 from areas under GHMC, 71 from Jagitial, 16 from Jangaon, 20 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 63 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 12 from Kamareddy, 165 from Karimnagar, 123 from Khammam, 13 from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 134 from Mahabubnagar, 57 from Mahabubabad, 46 from Mancherial, 20 from Medak, 146 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 16 from Mulugu, 57 from Nagarkurnool, 32 from Nalgonda, 23 from Narayanpet, seven from Nirmal, 30 from Nizamabad, 50 from Peddapalli, 28 from Rajanna Sircilla, 174 from Rangareddy, 83 from Sangareddy, 94 from Siddipet, 63 from Suryapet, 87 from Vikarabad, 55 from Wanaparthy, 61 from Warangal Rural, 87 from Warangal Urban and 13 from Yadadri Bhongir.
