Telangana registers 453 new Covid cases, three deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 453 new Covid infections and three fatalities on Monday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,828 and the total number of positive cases to 6,49, 859. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday, was 8,242.

On Monday, authorities conducted 80,658 Covid tests of which results of 1,843 samples were awaited. A total of 614 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.14 per cent on Sunday. So far, a total of 2,29,02,812 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,49,859 have tested positive and 6,37,789 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 10 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 68 from areas under GHMC, 25 from Jagitial, eight from Jangaon, five from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, two each from Jogulamba Gadwal and Kamareddy, 43 from Karimnagar, 33 from Khammam, seven from Mahabubnagar, eight from Mahabubabad, 13 from Mancherial, three from Medak, 25 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, six from Mulugu, four from Nagarkurnool, 26 from Nalgonda, two from Nirmal, five from Nizamabad, 26 from Peddapalli, 13 from Rajanna Sircilla, 20 from Rangareddy, five from Sangareddy, 16 from Siddipet, 15 from Suryapet, three from Wanaparthy, 10 from Warangal Rural, 36 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Yadadri Bhongir.
