Telangana reports 3,762 new Covid infections, 20 fatalities

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,762 new Covid infections and 20 fatalities on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,189 and the total number of positive cases to 5,63,903.The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday evening, stood at 38,632.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 91,048 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 2,210 samples were awaited. On Wednesday, 3,816 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 92.58 per cent. So far, a total of 1,47,39,857 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,63,903 have tested positive and 5,22,082 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included from eight Adilabad, 128 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 528 from areas under GHMC, 70 from Jagitial, 45 from Jangaon, 51 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 73 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 26 from Kamareddy, 170 from Karimnagar, 214 from Khammam, 24 from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 158 from Mahabubnagar, 141 from Mahabubabad, 103 from Mancherial, 43 from Medak, 213 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 39 from Mulugu, 104 from Nagarkurnool, 218 from Nalgonda, 25 from Narayanpet, 16 from Nirmal, 45 from Nizamabad, 137 from Peddapalli, 56 from Rajanna Sircilla, 229 from Rangareddy, 90 from Sangareddy, 131 from Siddipet, 178 from Suryapet, 101 from Vikarabad, 93 from Wanaparthy, 102 from Warangal Rural, 158 from Warangal Urban and 45 from Yadadri Bhongir.
