Telangana reports 455 new Covid cases, three fatalities

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 455 new Covid infections and three fatalities on Sunday taking the number of deaths to 3,805 and the total number of positive cases to 6,45,406. The number of active cases in the State, as on Sunday, was 8,873.
On Sunday, authorities conducted 83,763 tests of which results of 1,374 samples were awaited. A total of 648 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98 per cent on Sunday. So far, a total of 2,20,89,978 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,45,406 have tested positive and 6,32,728 persons have recovered.
The cases reported from the districts included 77 from areas under GHMC, 41 from Khammam, 35 from Karimnagar, 31 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 28 from Warangal Urban and 15 from Warangal Rural, 27 from Rangareddy, 24 from Peddapalli, 22 from Jagitial, 21 from Nalgonda, 20 from Rajanna Sircilla, 17 from Suryapet, 11 from Siddipet, 10 each from Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mancherial and Yadadri Bhongir, eight each from Nizamabad and Sangareddy, nine from Mahabubnagar, five each from Mulugu and Jangaon, four each from Mahabubabad and Nagarkurnool, three from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, two each from Adilabad, Medak and Vikarabad, and one each from Narayanpet, Nirmal, Kamareddy and Wanaparthy.
