Telangana reports 4,723 fresh Covid cases, 31 deaths
On Wednesday, 5,695 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 87.89 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,723 new Covid infections and 31 fatalities on Wednesday evening, taking the death toll to 2,834 and the total caseload to 5,11,711. The number of active cases in Telangana on Wednesday were 59,133.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 69,525 Covid tests of which results of 2,763 samples are awaited. On Wednesday, 5,695 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 87.89 per cent. So far, a total of 1,38,23,741 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,11,711 have tested positive and 4,49,744 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 44 from Adilabad, 105 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 745 from areas under GHMC, 134 from Jagitial, 68 from Jangaon, 92 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 79 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 49 from Kamareddy, 219 from Karimnagar, 205 from Khammam, 58 from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 156 from Mahabubnagar, 98 from Mahabubabad, 161 from Mancherial, 55 from Medak, 305 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 57 from Mulugu, 194 from Nagarkurnool, 181 from Nalgonda, 42 from Narayanpet, 27 from Nirmal, 96 from Nizamabad, 148 from Peddapalli, 59 from Rajanna Sircilla, 312 from Rangareddy, 114 from Sangareddy, 161 from Siddipet, 105 from Suryapet, 153 from Vikarabad, 85 from Wanaparthy, 105 from Warangal Rural, 194 from Warangal Urban and 117 from Yadadri Bhongir.
