Telangana reports 494 new Covid cases, four fatalities

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 494 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,784 and the total number of positive cases to 6,41,153. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday was 9,405.

On Sunday, authorities conducted 91,457 Covid tests of which results of 941 samples were awaited. A total of 710 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.94 per cent on Sunday. So far, a total of 2,13,15,919 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,41,153 have tested positive and 6,27,964 persons have recovered.

The positive cases reported from the districts included 15 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 76 from areas under GHMC, 24 from Jagtiial, five from Jangaon, four from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, five from Jogulamba Gadwal, 49 from Karimnagar, 40 from Khammam, six from Mahabubnagar, 12 from Mahabubabad, 11 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 19 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 19 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, six from Nizamabad, 30 from Peddapalli, 12 from Rajanna Sircilla, 31 from Rangareddy, 12 from Sangareddy, 14 each from Siddipet and Suryapet, 18 from Warangal Rural, 43 from Warangal Urban and nine from Yadadri Bhongir, among others.
