Telangana SLBC reviews banking performance, launches credit plan

The State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) of Telangana held its 49th quarterly review meeting in Hyderabad, attended by senior government and banking officials. The committee reviewed banking performance for FY 2025-26 and launched the Annual Credit Plan for FY 2026-27.

Hyderabad: State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), Telangana convened its 49th Quarterly Review Meeting for the quarter ended March 2026 to review the performance of banks and launched the Annual Credit Plan for FY 2026-27.

The meeting was attended by Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister, Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Minister for Agriculture & Marketing, M Dana Kishore, Spl. Chief Secretary, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary (Finance), Govt. of Telangana, Dr. Gaurav Uppal, Secretary (Finance & Planning), Govt. of Telangana, Chinmoy Kumar, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad, R Ganapathy, GM, NABARD, Neelesh Dwivedi, CGM, SBI, Hyderabad Circle and Satish Kumar, GM, SBI & Convenor, SLBC, Telangana.


Senior officials from the line departments of State and Union governments, executives from Public Sector Banks, Private Sector Banks, RRBs, SFBs, Payment Banks, representatives of various Federations of Agriculture and MSME etc. participated.

Neelesh Dwivedi, CGM, SBI, Hyderabad Circle presented the performance of the banks in Telangana during the Financial Year 2025-26 as total deposits of the banks grew by Rs.1,02,995 crores during the FY 2025-26 and the total deposits were at Rs.9,43,425 crores. Total advances with banks grew by Rs.1,52,497 crores during the FY 2025-26 and the advances of all banks were at Rs.12,33,858 crores.
