The State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) of Telangana held its 49th quarterly review meeting in Hyderabad, attended by senior government and banking officials. The committee reviewed banking performance for FY 2025-26 and launched the Annual Credit Plan for FY 2026-27.

Collector directs bankers to be prepared to extend loans to unemployed youth under Rajiv Yuva Vikasa scheme during current fiscal

Collector Kumar Deepak said the annual credit plan was pegged at Rs.6,066 crore for the 2024-25 financial year and asked bankers to achieve it.

Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Raj called upon the bankers to extend loans to agriculture and other priority sectors on priority.

While Rs 463 crore was allocated for the micro, small and medium enterprises, Rs 32 crore was allocated for education and Rs 95 crore for the housing sector

Out of the total Rs 2,937 crore credit plans, a sum of Rs 2,779 crore has been allocated for priority sector and Rs 158 crore for non-priority sector
