Khammam: Telangana State School Teachers Federation (STF) state president Devarakonda Saidulu lauded the State government’s decision to establish Young India Integrated Residential Schools.
The integrated residential schools, being set up under one umbrella for SC, ST, BC, minority, and economically weaker sections of upper caste social groups, would create a sense of equality. The schools would set new standards in the field of education, he said.
Saidulu, along with federation leaders, called on Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, shared their views about the schools, and presented a painting of the Integrated Residential School to him. The schools would make Telangana a model for the country, he said.
Setting up 105 Young India Integrated Residential Schools in the State at a cost of Rs. 21,000 crore was a bold decision. The residential schools would contribute to creating exceptional human resources for society, he noted, while appealing to the Deputy Chief Minister to ensure these residential schools are made available by the set deadline.
