Telangana teams to receive ‘Pride of Telangana’ honour at mBAJA SAEIndia event
Top-performing teams from Telangana at the Mechanical BAJA SAEIndia competition in Medak will receive the “Pride of Telangana” award. Hosted by BVRIT, the event brings together engineering students from across India to showcase technical skills
Medak: The best-performing teams from Telangana in the Mechanical BAJA SAEIndia competition will be presented with the “Pride of Telangana” award by the organisers at the conclusion of the event. Of the 51 participating teams from across the country, 10 teams are from Telangana.
Joint Convener Dr V Murali Krishna said these teams had successfully completed technical inspections, including brake tests, acceleration tests and sled pull dynamic tests, qualifying for the next stages of the competition.
The BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur (BVRIT), is hosting the 19th edition of mBAJA SAEIndia, marking the first time the national-level competition is being held in South India. The event has brought together engineering students from across the country, offering them a platform to demonstrate their technical skills and practical knowledge.
Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao, who attended as the guest on the second day of the programme, appreciated SAEIndia and BVRIT for organising the event in Medak district, stating that such initiatives provide an effective platform for students to gain practical experience. He interacted with students and organisers during his visit on Thursday.
The competition comprises static and dynamic events carrying a total of 1,000 points, which will determine the final overall rankings.
Apart from this, BVRIT will organise an HR meet on March 2 and 3, enabling participants to interact with industry representatives and explore placement opportunities.
