Hyderabad: Telangana is the third top performing State in the country in implementing Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) project in the country, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoH). The MoH has conducted a summit on good practices adopted by all the States in the country in implementing Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems (CCTNS) and ICJS project during 2021.
It conducted a virtual conference on Thursday and Friday during which Telangana presented the topics on ICJS implementation and the e-Petty case app. During the valedictory ceremony, the Ministry has announced awards declaring Telangana as the third top performing State in the country in implementing the lCJS project.
The MoH announced individual awards to three police officers for their significant contribution in implementing CCTNS and ICJS projects. The officers are — V Ramesh, sub-inspector of SR Nagar police station, Banna Sandhya, police constable of Tappachabutra police station and Dodla Anvitha from Basara police station in Nirmal.
Director-General of Police M Mahendar Reddy congratulated the police computer services wing headed by Additional Director-General of Police (Technical Services) Ravi Gupta, who is a nodal officer for the lCJS project in Telangana.
