Hyderabad: In a new initiative, Class X students can now access their SSC Public Examinations results via WhatsApp. Commencing this year, the School Education department will be sending a copy of the internet marks memo directly to the student’s registered mobile number.
This facility will be available to students who have earlier downloaded their SSC Public Examinations hall ticket via the MeeSeva Telangana Chatbot – 8096958096.
However, students starting afresh have to save the number 8096958096. To launch the chatbot, they need to send a ‘Hi’ message to the number via WhatsApp, followed by selecting the SSC Public Exams results and tapping open service. After entering the hall ticket number and date of birth, the result will be delivered instantly.
The new initiative by the department is aimed at making the result checking process more student-friendly, besides reducing the need to visit websites, which at times face technical snags.
“This time, the SSC Public Examinations results will be made available via WhatsApp as well. We have already made necessary arrangements for the same,” Director of Government Examinations, PV Srihari told ‘Telangana Today’.
The Directorate of Government Examinations, which has already successfully conducted Class X exams, is planning to announce the results in the first week of May.
Meanwhile, the evaluation of social studies and other minor subjects’ answer scripts commenced on Friday. The directorate has already concluded the evaluation of Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, physical science and biological science answer scripts, besides commencing the results processing for these subjects. The entire evaluation work will be completed by April 23.
“After the conclusion of evaluation work, it will take about one week for processing. Mostly, the results are expected in the first week of May,” a senior official said. A total of 5,28,239 students, including 2,67,954 boys and 2,60,285 girls, registered for the exams, which were conducted between March 14 and April 16.
