Telangana to take up special vaccination drive for school staff

According to an official of the School Education department, 48 special centres have been set up in the city to conduct the vaccination drive

Hyderabad: A special drive to administer the Covid-19 vaccine for teaching and non-teaching staff in educational institutions, both government and private, will commence across the State from Thursday. It is being taken up as educational institutions are scheduled to reopen from July 1.

According to an official of the School Education department, 48 special centres have been set up in the city to conduct the vaccination drive.


“All teaching and non-teaching staff working in educational institutions can take the vaccine by producing their identity card and Aadhaar card,” officials said.

The special vaccination drive will be held till the end of this month.
