JAGTIAL: Tragedy struck a family which had just celebrated a wedding, when the bride’s brother and her friend died in a horrific road accident in the early hours of Sunday. The bride’s parents were also injured in the accident near Dharur canal on the outskirts of Jagtial town. The car passengers were returning from a wedding in Jangaon, when their vehicle rammed into an oncoming RTC bus near Dharur canal
The deceased persons included the bride’s brother Sankeerth, who was driving the car and her friend Raji. Both died on the spot. The bride’s parents Rajammalu and Laxmi sustained serious injuries.
The injured were admitted to the Jagtial government hospital. Laxmi was shifted to Karimangar hospital as her health condition deteriorated.
Residents of Hanumanwada, Mission compound of Jagtial town, the victims attend their daughter’s marriage reception held in Jangaon on Saturday night. They met with an accident while returning to Jagtial.
The ill-fated car and Jagtial depot super luxury bus hit each other moving in opposite directions. Bus was on its way to Hyderabad. After hitting the bus, the car hit a road side tree.
