Telangana: Two youngsters killed in road accident in Medak
Two youths were killed and another seriously injured after an unidentified vehicle rammed into their motorcycle at Shalipet village in Medak district. Police have registered a case
Medak: In a tragic incident, two persons died in a road accident at Shalipet village of Havelighanpur mandal on Monday night.
The deceased were Dasari Suman (26) and Gundu Balaiah (29), residents of Burugupally. The duo along with another friend were proceeding towards their village on a bike from Medak when an unidentified vehicle knocked them down.
While Suman and Balaiah died on the spot, another youngster sustained serious injuries. The police registered a case. The injured man was rushed to government hospital in Medak.
Man sentenced for life in double murder case in Medak
Medak: A Medak court has convicted a man, who was accused in two separate murder cases, and imprisoned him for life. The court also imposed Rs 60,000 fine on him.
The convict Vottem Mallesham (32) of Rudraram village killed the two persons in less than 10 days in Chinna Shankarampet mandal in October and November of 2024.
The court convicted him on Monday after hearing the arguments from both sides. SP DV Srinivas Rao appreciated the police and prosecutors who put efforts to bring the accused to justice.
