Telangana: Unseasonal rains damage paddy in Mulugu

Mulugu: Heavy rains that lashed Eturnagaram mandal in Mulugu district have damaged paddy stocked at procurement centres at several villages.

Paddy procurement centres set up at Shivapuram and Gogupalli villages were inundated by rainwater. As a result piles of paddy at the procurement centres got wet and washed away in the floodwaters causing losses to the farmers.
