Hyderabad: For the second consecutive day, special teams from the Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E) wing continued to examine various documents pertaining to assigned lands that were forcibly taken by former Health Minister Eatala Rajender for his poultry industry.
Even as detailed examination of land documents was on, one V&E team inspected Toopran Sub-Registrar’s office on Sunday to examine documents pertaining to land transactions carried out by the former Health Minister.
“We are still in the process of examining the land documents and once it is completed, we will prepare a report by Monday evening,” an official from V&E wing said.
On Saturday, more than 50 people mostly farmers’ shared information with the V&E wing, which is probing the allegations against the former Health Minister, who has been accused of forcibly taking away assigned lands in Achampet in Medak district.
Officials from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and V&E in coordination with the Revenue department are examining the documents.
