Adilabad police arrested six members of an inter-State gang accused of illegal cattle transportation and attempting to murder a toll plaza staffer in Neradigonda. Police seized 47 cows, a truck and ganja, while three other accused persons remained absconding.

The Congress government in Telangana has completed 1,000 days in office amid criticism over HYDRAA demolitions, land acquisition, Musi Riverfront evacuations, food poisoning incidents, farmers’ protests and internal dissent among MLAs over inadequate funds for development works.
