‘Telugu Abbai .. Gujarati Ammayi’ poster out

A new Telugu web series starring Telugu former Bigg Boss contestants Akhil and Monal Gajjar is being scripted currently. The first look has been released by the makers marking the occasion of Valentine’s Day recently.
The movie is being directed by Bhaskar Bantupalli and produced by A Bhaskar Rao under Saraswathi Creations banner. “The pair Monal and Akhil were the cynosures of all eyes when they were in the house of Telugu Bigg Boss 4 season. One of my friend advised me to make a movie starring both the couple. So thus, a thread of the romantic story came to my mind and I took it seriously. Apparently, I thought titled should be ‘Telugu Abbai.. Gujarati Ammai’. The story revolves around a girl who comes to the city from Gujarat and Telugu boy who comes from a village. The shooting will go on the sets from March,” said director Bhaskar Bantupalli.
Doctor-turned producer A Bhaskar Rao who came forward to invest in the project, said, “I didn’t miss a single episode of the Bigg Boss Season 4. The bonding, small quarrels between the contestants, love and bittersweet moments in the house have engaged me a lot. When the director came with the proposal to make a web series with these two lead pair, I didn’t find a reason to deny.”
Speaking on the occasion, Akhil said all the friendship, emotions and love everything will be answered through the upcoming web series. It tells the story of a youth who meets a Gujarati girl while struggling in the city to fetch a software job. I’m very happy to be the part of the first project,” he added.
