Tension erupts at Hyderabad’s Asifnagar over clashes between two groups
Tension erupted in Asifnagar’s Muradnagar locality Friday night as two groups with criminal backgrounds clashed using sticks and stones, damaging vehicles. Residents stayed indoors in fear. Police reached the scene and launched an investigation amid criticism from locals.
HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed for sometime at Asifnagar when two groups clashed with deadly weapons on Friday night.
The clash took place at Muradnagar locality in Asifnagar following some issues between two individuals having criminal backgrounds.
During the clash several vehicles were reportedly damaged and a few people attacked with sticks and stones. Fear gripped the residents of the locality who locked their houses and remained indoor after noticing the clash on the streets of the residential locality.
On information the police reached the spot and started investigation.
The local people questionned the ability of the local police who they alleged failed to notice mobs moving around with sticks in groups and attacking people .
